PHONE PROVIDER + BANKS
Please make sure you tell your phone provider you are going overseas and get them to activate international roaming AND understand all the fees involved when using your phone overseas.
Contact your bank to notify them of where you are going and the dates, most debit cards work in Bali however you need to call your bank and get them to give you any information you need. This is important as if you dont notify them, they may cancel your card if they see an unusual international transaction.
GETTING AROUND IN BALI
Most places in Bali will allow you to use the new transport service called Gojek. Places you cannot call a Gojek to are Canguu and Ubud as they have their own transport services, however if you are coming from the airport and into those places you can. It can be a little confusing and I have learnt all about it the hard way so am happy to explain further if needed.
Download thew Gojek app and you can instantly order a car or bike and see the fair upfront and track there journey to you – like Uber.
